Wiki Space For Workshop Participants

Use of Technologies

A Wifi network will be available during the workshop. In addition the workshop facilitators will encourage workshop participants to make use of a number of networked technologies in order to support the event. We encourage workshop participants to read about the AvailableTechnologies and the AcceptableUsePolicy if possible, prior to the workshop.

Position Paper

The NetGenerationPositionPaper is under development.

Homework

We invite the workshop participants to write a short essay in advance of the workshop based on the position paper(s) and your personal experience on:

  • Your personal goals for coming to this workshop
  • At least one major obstacle that must be seized for the new learning environment to be realised.
  • Your thoughts on the most important drivers of change in the learning environment
  • At least One example of where the use of Web 2.0 & E-learning 2.0 can make a positive change to teaching and learning

Note that you may wish to use your personal Wiki page on this Wiki to make your notes.

In addition we encourage participants to contribute to the Wiki by, for example, adding links to relevant tools, demonstrators, background reading, etc.
